Domain Name Registration & Setup Assistance
We offer good solid SEO advise on the best domain name for your website and will make suggestions for which registrars are best for the type of domain name you wish to use.
Our service includes assisting you to configure your domain name to point towards your new website on our servers.
Our advice to new customers is to always register your own domain name!

Up to 8 email Accounts Matching Your Domain Name
Emails can be set up to online access, download to your computer or forwarding to another email address

8 free stock photos for use on your website
We can chose these images for you or let you pick them yourself.

Free sitemap and Contact form
A web site map is a great way for your clients to find what they want easily and generates internal links to pages on your site.
Your contact form can have up to 5 fields and includes a security number to reduce spam.

XML sitemap for search engines
This is an internal xml (or text file) file placed within your site that lists all the pages in your website. It is a tool used by SEO’s and webmasters to help search engines find all of the pages on your website.

1 Parked or add-on domain
this is an additional domain name (registered by you) configured to access your website (optional).
Example: www.canzdesign.com and www.canzdesign.co.nz go to the same website
if you are thinking about buying an additional domain our SEO specialist will advise you on what might be a good alternative domain name.

WordPress blog installed in web folder or subdomain of your website
We will also install a theme of your choice from the many free WordPress themes online at no addtional cost.
If you would like a custom designed theme to match your website appearance we will design one for you at the discount price of $100

RSS feeds on website from blog
If you have a working blog, or we install a blog at your request we can add a live feed to any or all pages of your website that constantly updates to the headline of your latest post!
You can have as many as 8 updating links on your site
Blog feeds are an excellent way to keep fresh content adding to your website content!

CMS upgrade abilities
If you decide you would like to be able to add pages and update your existing pages yourself.
CMS means Content Management System which gives you the ability to update your pages whenever you want.

3 Hour Free Maintenance
Our Small business website package includes three FREE hour of updates, maintenance, or tech support that can be used at any time over a 12 month period.
Additional services are available for an hourly or project based fee.

Project completion estimate: 2-3 weeks

1st Week: Our designer will interview you via phone or email (your preference) and develop a design that suits your needs and taste.

2nd Week: If you request professional content writing you will be interviewed regarding your page content requirements and the articles will be written. The articles will be submitted to you for approval.
If you are supplying your own content and text you will be asked to send the information to us via email or via CD or DVD by post.

Once we have page content we will begin designing and adding the webpages, images and forms to your site as well as implementing the site navigation.
You will be sent a link so you can watch the progress as your site is developed.

3rd Week: Editing, Testing and troubleshooting: This phase is the period when all changes to content and page layout is adjusted per your requests. We will fully test your site navigation optimization, forms and make certain everything is running smoothly before your site goes live!

Project completion time frames are based upon good communication and feedback/approval of design and page layouts by our clients.

Additional pages
We can add additional pages to any website on request. The cost for additional webpages averages $70 for a website we have built, although we do offer package prices for groups of 5 or more pages.

Custom built functions and applications
This can be something as simple as adding social media comment widgets (such as twitter or Facebook links) to something like adding a portfolio, a photo gallery, real estate listings, hotel bookings or any other type of application needed to make your website as functional and user friendly as possible.

CMS Upgrade
Your website can be upgraded to a full featured CMS system so you can continue adding web pages yourself.

Payment
At the beginning of your project we require a deposit of one half the total project cost. Final payment will be due upon completion of your website and final approval; as soon as payment is final your website goes live within 20 minutes.
Canz Design accepts credit cards, checks, PayPal and money orders.
We also offer direct deposit for our New Zealand clients.

Design Process
When you contract our design or SEO – SEM services we will send you an email with questions regarding what you want your website to accomplish, the look or feel you want it to convey and several other design and development questions that are be relevant to your project.
Often we will follow up with a phone call or second email to clarify your answers or requests for customizations you may have asked about.

After we are satisfied we know what you want your designer will begin the process of developing the look of your website.

Your designer will send you a graphic image based upon our interviews with you. You will be asked if you would like changes to the way it looks and sometimes your designer will suggest changes that will enhance the way your site looks and functions.
As soon as the design is approved by you the actual web site and pages will be built. You will be sent a link to the building site and asked if you want any changes made.

When you are completely satisfied with the way your website looks final payment will be requested and your site will be uploaded and live!
